Annual Spring Show 

Spring flowers and bulbs.  Flower arranging and children’s classes.

Tea and cakes available.

Tuesday 14th April 2026 at 7.30pm Ebrington Village Hall

A talk about The National Garden Scheme and the gardens of Gloucestershire by the NGS Country Organiser and garden historian, Vanessa Berridge.

Tuesday 12th May at 10.00am 

Morton Hall Gardens, Redditch B96 6SJ

A visit to Morton Hall Gardens where we will be met by the owner or Head Gardener for a tour of this eight acre garden, which holds an annual tulip festival and includes seven garden rooms.

£19.00 p/p to include tea/coffee and cake in the orangery.  Booking and payment essential by 14th April 2026.

Spring Plant Sale

A chance to buy Spring plants.

Please bring some plants to sell, flowers, vegetable, herbs etc before 10am

Wednesday 27th May 2026 at 8.15am to 6.15pm

RHS Bridgewater, Salford, Manchester M28 2LJ

A return visit by coach to RHS Bridgewater shared with Blockley Horticultural Society.

RHS Bridgewater is the fifth RHS garden and one of the largest projects undertaken in Europe in recent years. 154 Acres to include a walled garden, organic kitchen garden, forest garden, streams, rills, lakes and ponds.

Admission is free for club members. Coach will cost approx £20 p/p.

Pre-booking is essential.  Please book a place with Tracey.

Claridges Barn, Charlbury Road, Chipping Norton OX7 5XG

A  family garden which includes a wood, meadow, vegetable plot, orchard, cutting garden and pond.

Cost is £14.00 p/p including wine and savoury nibbles.

Ebrington Summer Fete at Ebrington Cricket Ground

The Club’s main event of the year. Our Traditional village show when members display their vegetables, flowers, fruit, floral art, cookery, photography and
crafts. Children’s classes too. Tea and Cake available.
Washbrook Barn is made available by kind permission of the Drinkwater family.

Sezincote nr Morton in Marsh, Gloucestershire GL56 9AW

India in the Cotswolds.  A traditional family-run estate with the 200 year Mogil/Indian Palace set in a romantic landscape of temples, grottos, waterfalls and canals.

Meet for a garden visit and picnic in the grounds.  Bring your own picnic and chairs.

Entrance garden only £9.00 or House & garden £15.00

45h Annual Flower and Vegetable Show

Washbrook Barn, Ebrington GL55 6NW

The club’s major event of the year.  Our traditional village show when members display their vegetables, flowers, fruit, floral art, cookery, photography and crafts.  Children’s classes too.

Tuesday 11th August 2026 at 11.00am 

Overbury Court, Overbury, Worcestershire GL20 7NP

A tour of this 10 acre historic garden with Head Gardener, Harry.  The garden comprises of vast formal lawns skirted by several rills and ponds.  The South side of the garden has a formal terrace with mixed borders and yew hedging overlooking a formal lawn.

£5.00 p/p No refreshments available but there are a couple of options in the village.

Tractor in Field

Wednesday 2nd September 2026 at 5.45pm 

Washbrook Farm, Ebrington

“Working the Land” tractor ride and guided talk around the Drinkwater's acres, showing us the crops they are growing, how they are sown, managed and picked and how current trends influence what they grow and when.  

Supper will be a hog roast and vegetarian option.  

We’d be grateful if you could bring either a salad or dessert to share.  Please bring your own drinks.  

Tea and coffee will be provided.

£10.00 p/p cash on the night.  Book your place with Tracey

Planting pots for Winter joy and Spring

Harriet Rycroft will be demonstrating and talking about creating container plantings which will last from September to May (using bulbs, perennials, shrubs and bedding plants).

Cidermill Theatre, Cidermill Lane, Chipping Campden GL56 6HU

An evening with Rachel de Thame. Rachel is a broadcaster, writer and gardener. A regular presenter on BBC Gardeners’ World and the Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show coverage. £20.00 for gardening club members £25.00 for non-gardening club members. Bookable on line closer to the time.

Trug making by a miserable old Trugger.

A light hearted talk about trugs by Carl Sadler.  Carl is one of only four trug makers in the country, he is not only a trug maker but a coppicer and green woodsman.  

Christmas Views

Tuesday 8th December 2026 at 7.30pm Ebrington Village Hall

Club Christmas Party 

A fun evening of entertainment and good food and drink which members bring to share.

No charge.  Members only.

Gardening Shed

Tuesday 12th January 2027 at 7.30pm Ebrington Village Hall

James Harris from Melcourt Industries will talk about peat free gardening and the journey to peat free.

Advice will be given on how to use/transition to peat free.

Pink Blossom

Tuesday 9th February 2027 at 6.30pm Ebrington Village Hall

“Living the Good Life”

A talk by Kev Alviti about their homestead and how they got there.

The Homestead is at the foot of the Malvern Hills and they grow much of their fruit and veg, as well as produce and a lot of their own meat.  

Kev is passionate about producing as much as he can as well as including their children in everything they do.

Tuesday 9th March 2027 at 7.30pm  Ebrington Village Hall  Inter-gardening Club Quiz 

We will be hosting the quiz .  Support our team (volunteers needed!) while they battle it out against 4 other local Gardening Clubs and try your hand at some questions too!
